We all want our kids to be happy and healthy.
And as parents we do everything in our power to make it happen. But it’s not that easy. Kids are complicated, and even at a young age they can face difficulties we as adults don’t understand.
Yako is here to help bridge that gap of understanding.

Make kids feel trusted, understood, valued and safe. By writing down their worries and posting them to Yako’s pouch, parents can read and reply from themselves or Yako himself.
It opens up a different road of communication. One that encourages contemplation – rather than shutting emotions out, or blurting them out in a moment of anger.

Mental health problems in kids is a growing problem.
Depression, anxiety and conduct disorders are on the rise. And one in four children in the UK experience suicidal thoughts. These mental health issues are often a response to what is happening in their lives. Yako is specifically designed to help tackle this problem. And we want to start young. Get kids talking to parents about their problems, thoughts, hopes, fears. By Writing a note and posting in the bear, kids learn to communicate with parents, and by reading and replying to the note, parents learn to communicate with kids.
